Adrienne Martin spent 20 years in the mining industry, before shifting her focus to raising her family. After Adrienne had a stroke in 2020, she and husband Greg became connected with Heart & Stroke, and attended the 2023 Gala. They loved the event and now Adrienne shares her leadership and creativity as 2026 Gala Committee Co-Chair.

Virginia (Ginny) Morgan is VP of Investor Relations and ESG at Lithium Americas. She has been a part of the Gala since 2014 because of her drive to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke so we can save more lives. With incredible energy and dedication, Ginny returns this year as the 2026 Gala Committee Co-Chair!

Adrienne Giffen, FEA, is an executive recruiter who specializes in placing top talent within entrepreneurial companies. With a passion for authentic communication, she is also the author of Unravel You, a guide to rediscovering your true self through reflection and personal development. As the creator of the Now You’re Talking™ board game, Adrienne is on a mission to bring meaningful conversation back, helping people of all ages connect beyond the screen.

Danielle Dyer is a CDA and commercial actor, and has volunteered with the Gala Committee for five years. In 2022 Danielle served as Committee Co-Chair, and she always brings great creativity and energy to the team. Danielle finds inspiration in working to fund more research and make a real difference for so many people.

Gillian Ong, Senior Manager, Global Trade Optimization lululemon, is new to the Gala Committee this year! She has lost both of her grandmothers to strokes so she is personally connected to the theme of women’s heart and brain health. She wants to share her expertise on the committee to help raise awareness and funding to tackle health inequities.

Harp Gosal is the Manager, Investor Relations & Brand with NexGen Energy Ltd. After losing several beloved family members to heart disease, Harp decided to channel her grief into something positive and impactful, which led to her joining the Gala Committee in 2019. She is passionate about raising awareness in her community about how to protect your health.

Jas Uppal is an incredible volunteer who is active in supporting her community. Her family has been impacted by both heart disease and stroke, and Jas is passionate in supporting the funding of heart and stroke research excellence that will save more lives. Jas joins us for her 2nd year with the Gala Committee.

Jen Murtagh is the co-founder of Maturn, Canada’s first maternity and motherhood leadership platform, supporting women through key life transitions including fertility, maternity leave, motherhood, and menopause. A former C-suite executive with over 20 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership, Jen is a recognized advocate for gender equity and inclusive workplaces. A heart disease survivor, Jen is passionate about raising awareness of women’s heart health. She shares her personal journey to inspire change and has helped raise significant funds for life-saving research. Jen serves on several advisory councils and boards, including One Girl Can, and lives in Steveston, BC with her blended family of four children.

Jennifer Cudlipp is President and CEO of Bacas Family Wines, home to the iconic Quails’
Gate Winery and a portfolio of premium Canadian wine brands. With over two decades of
executive leadership experience, Jennifer is known for guiding people-centred organizations
through growth and transformation while fostering cultures of care, collaboration, and
excellence.
Deeply committed to community service, Jennifer has served on the boards of United Way,
RainCity Housing, and the Justice Institute Foundation. She is a recipient of the CPA
Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her leadership and dedication to social
Impact.

Jennifer Wick is a registered massage therapist and a lead fitness instructor at Equinox Vancouver. After seeing many friends and family members impacted by heart disease and stroke, Jennifer decided to join the Gala Committee in 2023. She wants to help raise awareness so we can save more lives.

Rachael Segal is a lawyer and serves as Vice-President BC Lead and General Counsel at Enterprise Canada.
She has served in various policy and campaign strategist roles at various levels of government across Canada. Rachael has been an educator for decades and has extensive broadcast experience on television and radio.
In September 2023 Rachael launched her company Beyond a Ballot, which takes a multi-partisan approach to supporting Canadian women entering politics through media products, education and community building. She co-hosts the very successful Beyond a Ballot signature podcast.

Tricia Doddington spent 25+ years working as a CPA in the finance/accounting industry before retiring recently to care for her aging parents. Many of Tricia’s loved ones have been impacted by heart disease and stroke which has fueled her drive to raise awareness period.

Tsukasa has worked in brand strategy and marketing communications for global consumer brands, including leading the Japan launch of SHEIN. Recently relocated to Vancouver, she was inspired by the Heart & Stroke Gala and its mission. After seeing many friends impacted by heart disease, she joined the Gala Committee to help raise awareness—especially among women—and to contribute to meaningful community impact.

Vanessa Wong has over 15 years of leadership experience in real estate, specializing in capital raising and strategic partnerships. She consults with developers on partnership strategies and investor engagement, nurturing relationships that drive growth and community impact.
Vanessa is passionate about giving back and is honoured to support the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s mission to improve the health and lives of those affected by heart disease and stroke.

Vicki Hamill is an executive assistant in the investment industry. Her motivation to join the Committee is clear: her sister and niece both had strokes by the time they turned 30, so Vicki is passionate about helping to improve outcomes for stroke survivors and their families. This is Vicki’s 3rd year as a Gala Committee member.
