15th Annual Gala
It's been a long time since we've been able to get together for an energetic evening full of FUN and IMPACT! We're so grateful for the opportunity to be together again in person for our 15th Anniversary gala celebration. Thank you to all our gala attendees, sponsors, donors and supporters for making this year's event a night to remember!
A special thank you to our presenting sponsor, The BC Lions and our sincere gratitude to Lions' owner Amar Doman for his philanthropic vision, community leadership, and ongoing support of The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Over the past 15 years, Heart & Stroke Gala has raised over $10 million in support of our mission to promote health, save lives and enhance recovery for people living with or at risk from heart disease and stroke. Together we can beat stroke, beat heart disease and make a real difference in the lives of our family, friends and colleagues. Thank you for joining us to make the 15th anniversary event a successful gala affair!
By working together, we can beat stroke!
This year the Heart & Stroke Gala is focused on our work in stroke. With your help, we can continue to fund exceptional stroke researchers in B.C., raise awareness of the FAST signs of stroke, and enhance rehabilitation and recovery services for people living with the effects of stroke.
For decades, Heart & Stroke researchers have led life-saving medical advances. Let's work together to continue to drive research excellence in B.C.
Every minute after a stroke begins, 1.9 million brain cells die. By learning the FAST signs of stroke every one of us is empowered to save lives and improve outcomes for people who have a stroke.
We collaborate with hospitals to build evidence that helps them improve current and future patient care.
